This section is meant to provide you with quick access to important information that you'll need while here at UCSB.  Whether you're interested in learning about careers in healthcare or you're currently pursuing a pre-health track, we've packed our site with the basics you need to keep moving toward your goals!  We encourage all students to review the AAMC's Anatomy of an Applicant Guide.  This guide can help you to gain an understandin of the professinal school application process, including an overview of the primary application and insight into the competencies that successful applicants are able to demonstrate.  Although the information in the guide is based on the AMCAS application to medical school, the information is applicable across all health professions schools.  Please review the guide, then discuss what you've learned with a pre-health advisor!
